Welcome to my Texas, Metal detecting, Treasure hunting and Gold Prospecting site. My name is Todd Pickens and I have been prospecting around the Llano area for over 10 years. This web site represents a lot of the information that I have gathered over the years. On my Links page you will find several links to historical articles written about Gold, Silver or Treasure in Texas. If you search around you will find out about places you can go prospecting, most are free, but there are some pay to dig places. While browsing through my site you will also find information on prospecting, metal detecting and treasure hunting clubs. While on the site you will also find out where you can buy prospecting equipment. I will be setting up an on-line store where you can advertise your prospecting equipment. On my field test page you will find out about equipment that I have used and tested and what I think about it. This can be very helpful in making a decision to purchase equipment. There is a lot of stuff out there that doesn't work on our fine Texas Gold. Of course there are lots of pictures and some video's of prospecting in Texas. So sit back, kick your feet up and stay awhile.
