Welcome to Llano Gold web pages.  This site has been made for informing persons looking for the adventure of Texas Gold Prospecting, Metal detecting, Treasure hunting and other outdoor activities in the Llano area.  For other related activities in Texas please visit this sites sister site at www.prospectingtexas.com.  I have been prospecting around the Llano area for over 10 years. This web site represents a lot of the information that I have gathered over the years. On this site in the Links pages you will find several links to historical articles written about Gold, Silver or Treasure in Texas. If you search around you will find out about places you can go prospecting, most are free, but there are some pay to dig places. While browsing through this site you will also find information on prospecting, metal detecting and treasure hunting clubs. You will also find out where you can buy prospecting equipment. I will be setting up an on-line store where you can buy on line prospecting equipment. On Todd's field test page you will find out about equipment that we have used and tested and what we think about it. This can be very helpful in making a decision to purchase equipment. There is a lot of equipment out there that doesn't work on our fine Texas Gold. Of course there are lots of pictures and some video's of prospecting in Texas. So sit back, kick your feet up and stay awhile.
